MacIntosh Engineering, a growing Consulting Structural Engineering Firm with offices in Wilmington, DE and Exton, PA, is seeking skilled, enthusiastic individuals who welcome challenges to join our team. Openings are available for both the Delaware and Pennsylvania offices.

Project Engineer

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with minimum of 4 years professional experience
• E.I.T. required, P.E. preferred.
• Service clients and coordinate projects with the owner, architect and contractor.
• Establish the structural system for each project.
• Manage project design team through the life of the project.
• Develop and/or review structural design calculations.
• Develop structural sections and details.

Project Designer

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• E.I.T. required.
• Prepare structural design calculations.
• Develop structural sections and details.
• Review shop drawings and submittals during project construction.
• Must be familiar with steel and concrete design and code requirements.
• Knowledge and understanding of engineering computer software (ie. Enercalc, Ram Steel, Adapt, etc.) is a plus.

Draftsperson

• Minimum 5 years experience with AutoCAD.
• Produce clean/coordinated working drawings for bid and construction documents.
• Thorough backchecking of work.
• Understanding of structural and architectural systems.
• Ability to draw details from hand sketches.

Internship

• High school or college level.
• Must be familiar with AutoCAD and drawing details from hand-sketches.
• Light office work and deliveries.
• Part-Time and Full-Time available.
